PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES

Pressure Relieving

+ Safety Valves

A pressure relief valve actuated by inlet static pressure and characterized by rapid opening or pop action.

+ Safety Relief Valves

A pressure relief valve characterized by rapid opening or pop action, or by opening in proportion to the increase in pressure over the opening pressure, depending upon the application.

+ Pilot Operated

A pressure relief valve in which the major relieving device is combined and controlled by a self actuated auxiliary pressure relief valve.

+ Electromatic Ball

A power actuated pressure relief valve in which the major relieving device is combined with and controlled by a device requiring an external source of energy.

+ Blanketing

Gas Regulators that can provide both pressure and fire protection for storage tanks by supplying a blanketing gas which maintains a constant positive pressure in the vapor space of a storage tank.

+ Pressure / Vacuum

A pressure relief device designed to admit fluid to prevent an excessive internal vacuum; it is designed to re-close and prevent further flow of fluid after normal conditions have been restored.

+ Rupture Disc

A non-re-closing pressure relief device actuated by the static differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the device and designed to function by the bursting of the pressure containing disc.

+ Tank Vent

Emergency Pressure Relief Devices designed to be used on tanks containing non-volatile liquids and on vent pipe extremities.

+ Manway

Emergency Pressure Relief valve designed to provide emergency relief capacity beyond that furnished by the normal operating pressure relief valve on the tank.

+ Teflon Lined Relief

Overpressure protection for unfired pressure vessels and plant systems used with corrosive and high purity liquids, gases and vapors.
