 Job Summary:

The Senior Applications Specialist role is the conduit through which our customers communicate their product needs to us and we translate these needs to winning product and/or service proposals for complex systems, applications and WIP jobs. Creating a winning proposal requires an ability to accurately ascertain the customer’s need, correctly size and select a solution, negotiate as appropriate a competitive price from our suppliers, and translate this in to a compelling offer to the customer. The Senior Applications Specialist serves as an internal subject matter expert (SME) on specific product lines and/or applications, and is a partner in the sales strategy and execution with the Account Manager.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and retain relationships with key buying influences and key management contacts by building effective long-term relationships and Customer loyalty often in collaboration with the Account Manager
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, product lines, sales territories, product applications, and applicable pricing structures.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of various fluid and chemical types, pressure, and the mechanical functions of products  in order to size/select the appropriate Customer Solution
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of OEM and Global Alliance Agreements and appropriately apply to the Customer Solutions Process
  • Schedule and complete proactive Customer calls, and in collaboration with the Account Manager make Customer site-visits to serve as a product/application SME in the Sales process.
  • Serve as the technical product/application SME on Customer calls both directly and in collaboration with the Account Manager
  • Facilitate product demonstrations as the product/application SME both directly and in collaboration with the Account Manager
  • Facilitate intake of Customer Solutions requests and required specifications to then initiate the engineering of a Customer Solution quotation including:
    • Sizing and selecting of valves, parts and applications
    • Communication with Sr. level Engineering, Maintenance, Production and/or Supply Chain representatives at the Customer level  to determine the appropriate solution
    • Set the appropriate quotation pricing and margin per the Setpoint BOA in order to provide a competitive Customer Solution
    • Sourcing of materials as needed
    • Analyze Customer drawings and able to perform valve and instrument take-off as needed
  • Mentor and provide On-the-Job Training to the Applications Specialist and Distribution team
  • Provide oversight, input and approval when needed on the pricing and technical specifications of Customer Solution quotations developed by the Applications Specialist
  • Partner with the Operations team and Services Coordinators, when needed, to address Customer Service issues
  • Assure delivery of Total Customer Care
  • Create and maintain Customer trust in Setpoint as a quality, value-added, solutions provider
  • Accurately capture quote data in quote log and order information into Oracle or effectively pass on to administration for entry according to branch standard procedures
  • Accurately place purchase orders on the suppliers and then follow up as appropriate to ensure on time delivery to meet commitments to customer

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager supervises warehouse employees and oversees the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide range of goods and assembly parts.  The position requires the understanding of system transactions and inventory staging with regards to work in process jobs and sales orders and is a vital part of the supply chain process.  The position also requires facility management of the combined Corporate & Baton Rouge location.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand corporate objectives and use strategic thinking to deal with planning, coordinating, administration and general management issues, including supervision of staff and overseeing work organized by team leaders
  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order and assembly staging and dispatch of goods with a  clear understanding of work in process and all inventory system transactions
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reconciling with ERP system on a daily basis

Job Summary

The Service Coordinator II provides a variety of activities and related tasks as it pertains to coordinating repair jobs. The Services Coordinator II will be responsible for scheduling, ordering needed materials and working directly with the customers to ensure a prompt and accurate product.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedules repair opportunities with customers and the shop foreman for best delivery
  • Updates the Production Board, Foreman/Production Managers, Valvkeep, and customer of any changes to the schedule
  • Schedules and prepares scope of work for all field service work with customer and Shop Foreman
  • Turnaround/ outage cost track and weekly invoicing
  • Updates the customer on pricing while valve is still in house to ensure that the purchase order is updated for same day invoicing
  • Identify revenue opportunities within customers’ communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed
  • Plans, coordinates and prepares valve specifications and/or material
    requisitions and bid evaluations
  • Provide technical support and assist in resolution of manufacturing problems as required
  • Provides engineering support to customers and make recommendations on product selection and applications for our products
  • Examines ways to offer practical, creative alternatives that increase Setpoint’s chances of successfully closing orders at higher margins; in addition, to giving the customer the best solution for their application

Job Summary:

Job Summary: 

The Machinist will perform various types of machining processes on a variety of machine tools. Can operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders. Cleans and deburrs material as needed to remove sharp edges and allow for placement in vises or fixtures. Operate drill presses, honing machines, hydraulic presses, etc. Have strong shop math skills, good understanding of measurements. Familiarity with hand tools.

Job Summary

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and increasing sales at assigned accounts within your territory.  Account lists will be determined by the Regional Sales Manager in conjunction with the General Manager.  The Account Manager is expected to promote all products and services represented by Setpoint Integrated Solutions to increase market share year over year.  These goals and targets are to be agreed and documented on the Account Manager’s “Scorecard” and reviewed continuously.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the direct day to day selling of all Setpoint product and service offerings, specifically using ValvKeep and Application Selling methods to drive new business
  • Build, maintain, and retain relationships with key buying influences and key management contacts at site by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty
  • Develops and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and offers additional services as appropriate to assigned existing customers
  • Participate in OEM training classes to understand technical differentiators of our OEM product offerings
  • Regularly meets with Regional Sales Manager and/or General Manager to review customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals, and status of key customer relationships
  • Develop, maintain, and implement an account strategy and plan with sales management
  • Schedules and completes proactive customer calls and visits and captures key information, working with OEM partners on a regular basis.
  • Identify capital projects, maintenance outages, and other spending events early and alert appropriate personnel
  • Partners with the operations team, when needed, to address customer services issues
  • Builds relationships and increases Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other similar activities
  • Assure delivery of total customer care
  • Create and maintain customer trust in Setpoint as a quality, value-added, solutions provider

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager supervises warehouse employees and oversees the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide range of goods and assembly parts.  The position requires the understanding of system transactions and inventory staging with regards to work in process jobs and sales orders and is a vital part of the supply chain process.  The position also requires facility management of the combined Corporate & Baton Rouge location.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand corporate objectives and use strategic thinking to deal with planning, coordinating, administration and general management issues, including supervision of staff and overseeing work organized by team leaders
  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order and assembly staging and dispatch of goods with a  clear understanding of work in process and all inventory system transactions
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reconciling with ERP system on a daily basis
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse and efficient utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment while planning future capacity requirements
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, warehouse machinery and equipment and make sure employees are trained and regularly briefed on proper use and all safety requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and security to provide a safe work environment with proper materials handling and storage
  • Regularly communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, employees and Corporate to ensure quality of material and delivery standards are upheld
  • Maintain budgets and monitor warehouse expenses as set by the General Manager
  • Organize all work and job responsibilities for all shipping and receiving team members
  • Maintain building overall operation and appearance
  • Provide oversight & management of the combined Corporate & Baton Rouge facility, to include all maintenance and repairs, as well as all landscaping requirements
